Through beta builds, the following enemies have been found and documented.

Hopper

Hoppers were little grasshopper enemies that would jump into the air. The behavior of this enemy is unknown, though it is speculated that they would jump at the same time as Mario to disorientate the player.

Blargg

Blargg was a lava monster that would swim around in Lethal Lava Land to try and catch players caught too close to the lava. It is speculated that they would act like how they did in Super Mario World.

Motos

Motos were a new enemy to the Mushroom Kingdom set to debut in the game. They would grab Mario and throw him in a set direction, similiar to King Bob-Omb.

Floating Wario Head

Not much is known about this one. It's believed they wanted Wario to have some sort of presence in the game and this was their solution. He was scrapped early into development, though some believe his model is still somewhere within the game. It is also believed that whatever was left of Wario's code was repurposed for the Mario head on the title screen.
